New Pedicure Clients

Appointment Policy with Trina Russell

PLEASE READ COMPLETELY BEFORE ANSWERING QUESTIONS

1. Due to increased demand and limited availability, I can only take clients who have paid the deposit or full amount in full.

2. Full payment or deposit of service is due before appointment will be accepted. An invoice will be emailed to you to pay for the service in full or make a deposit. If the payment is not received by the due date, the appointment will not be accepted. If you are unsure of which appointmnet is required, please email pictures to thenailshacksalon@gmail.com.

The deposit/payment is non-refundable. We understand emergencies happen from time to time. However, we require a 2-week notice to reschedule your appointment one time.

Before making an appointment, please read through the list to ensure I can complete the service when you arrive. If you have an issue I cannot work on when you arrive, I will not be able to perform the service, and you will lose your payment. I love being able to provide pedicure services and solutions for people who have difficult toenail situations. However, some issues are outside my cosmetic realm of practice.

I will not be able to do the service if a condition warrants the need for glove use. Patron protection and disease control are essential in the nail industry. I follow all state board rules and regulations and all safety and disinfection processes to ensure our client's safety.

If there is a condition that would warrant the need for a doctor, I will not be able to do the service. Patron protection and disease control are essential in the nail industry. Do You have: 

1. An active case of athlete’s feet? 
2. Can you see tiny blister-like circles when your feet are wet? 
3. Warts anywhere on the foot or leg? 
4. Open sores on the foot or leg? 
5. Active infection or puss in the toenails? 

You will be asked these questions, and if you arrive with any of the conditions, I will not be able to perform the service. 

1. You can treat the athlete's feet with the over-the-counter product, from my salon, for two weeks before you come to see me and ensure it is gone. 

2. Please see your doctor and have the wart removed or frozen. I cannot give you a pedicure until the wart is gone. 

3. Wait until any wound is healed. 

4. See your doctor for treatment options. I can see you when there is no longer anybody fluid present. 

Do you have: 

1. Gel polish on your toenails? 

2. I do not have the time built into my service time to remove gel polish from your nails if gel polish is not being reapplied. If gel is removed and not applied there will be an extra service fee.

3. Please remove the gel polish at home if you’re not getting it reapplied during service. 

Do you have: 

1. Pincer nails 
2. Ingrown toenails 
3. Impacted toenails 
4. Toenail fungus 
5. Thick calluses 

You will be asked to ensure I have enough time to work on these situations and or apply the required products to help reverse the problem. 

Calluses are in some regions of the foot. If you have a layer of thick buildup on the entire surface of your foot, there is a good chance you have a type of athlete's foot that creates this. I cannot try to remove this layer with physical manipulation. You need to purchase the product from my salon to use at home for at least two weeks before coming to see me. Terms & Conditions

Appointment Deposit:
A non-refundable deposit or full amount is required to book an appointment. The deposit will be applied toward your service cost. We require two weeks' notice to cancel for a refund of the deposit. We require two weeks' notice to reschedule the appointment, 1 time.

**Please don't pay a deposit if you have warts on your foot or legs. Athlete's Feet must be under control, and you must use the product Athlete's Feet for at least two weeks before your appointment. I will have to see the photos a second time before you arrive.

Arrival: Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment to take care of any personal needs before the appointment begins. Any arrivals past 15 min of your appointment time are considered a no-show and must be rebooked.
